Berkeley Regional Medical Center
Our Next Investment
One-third of Berkeley County residents must drive more than 30 minutes to reach a hospital. That is why Trident Health is planning Berkeley Regional Medical Center, a full-service, 50-bed, acute-care hospital to be built in Moncks Corner at the location of our existing emergency facility. The new hospital will bring full-service medical care to residents of northern Berkeley County. When completed, the new hospital will offer acute care, intensive care, emergency care and general surgery and will add other services as necessary.

Administrative Court Update
The Administrative Court hearings were completed on February 17th. Legal counsel for all parties involved must now submit a 30-page summary, which the court will review along with all documents and testimony, including community petitions and town council resolutions. We expect to be notified of a decision by June.
