Our outpatient mental health programs
Outpatient behavioral and mental health treatment is ideal for adults and adolescents who need more support than they get from a routine therapy session. It is also a good transition if you have been receiving inpatient care.
Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
IOP is a less intensive program designed to help individuals 12 and older work through challenges, strengthen coping skills, find stability and build the tools needed to avoid hospitalization. The three-hour group sessions are available during morning or afternoon hours to accommodate your schedule – there is even an afternoon virtual option for adults.
Adult IOP:
- Morning Intensive Outpatient Program: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm
- Afternoon IOP: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 12:30pm-3:30pm (In person and Virtual)
Adolescent IOP:
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 5:00pm-8:00pm
Outpatient partial hospitalization program (PHP)
Our PHP provides psychiatric outpatient care in a safe, comfortable setting. Your team's primary goal is to improve your level of functioning and reduce symptoms to prevent relapse or full hospitalization.
Sessions are conducted Monday through Friday for three to four hours per day, allowing you to return home after sessions. The program duration is usually between two and four weeks. However, the length of your treatment depends on your condition and assessment.
Customized treatment plans rely on the results of multidisciplinary evaluations. Your plan takes into consideration your mental capabilities as well as physical health. Then, your care team designs a therapy plan to get you to the level of mental function that best fits your needs. Each week, your team reviews and updates your treatment depending on your recovery progress.
Substance use/co-occurring intensive outpatient program
The goal of our substance use/co-occurring IOP is to empower individuals 18 and older to develop effective strategies that will help them achieve and maintain sobriety through learning new ways to cope with addiction. IOP involves three-hour group sessions, four days a week using a nationally recognized treatment model and encourages active participation. Our program is geared toward treating situational stressors and helping to facilitate recovery.
